Author & Instructor: Patricia Boyd

Patricia describes herself as an "Educator" not a "Trainer". Education is derived from the Greek word "Educe-to develop or draw from within". Her goal is to help as many people as possible develop the skills and talents they already have to reach their full potential.

Boyd received her Real Estate Broker's License at the University of Texas in Arlington. She has been in the real estate and mortgage industry since 1980. In 1987 she began educating real estate and mortgage professionals nationwide.

In 1989, recognizing that finance was a core competency that must be developed for a truly successful real estate career, she wrote and published two books on real estate finance, "Real Accountability in Your Real Estate Team" and "Real Finance: The Key to Listing & Selling Real Estate". She then combined these two books into a seminar now called "A Consumer Advocate Approach to Real Estate & Mortgages".

The seminar "A Consumer Advocate Approach to Real Estate & Mortgages" was created by Patricia Boyd to give real estate and mortgage professionals the tools and knowledge they need to consult with their clients and protect them from unethical business practices when buying and selling real estate.

In May 2000 Boyd published "How To Buy & Sell Your Home Without Getting Ripped Off!"
This book for consumers promotes working with an ethical real estate power team dedicated to protecting Consumers from predatory business practices.
Patricia has been a speaker at National Association of Realtors Conventions, Century 21 Conventions, RE/MAX Conventions, Coldwell Banker & ERA Banquets and many others. She was also the host of a series on RealNet Direct TV called Take Charge! and author for the finance column in The Real Estate Professional Magazine.
Patricia is currently CEO of REAL FINANCE SOLUTIONS, a consumer advocate consulting company.
